Resubmission of #1887 as Jenkins doesn't
like revert branches at
dlang.See #1879 for the originally approved PR,
which has been reverted as it caused conflicts with vibe.d
Vibe.d has now been fixed and we should be able to merge this with Jenkins being
happy about it.
