EventType tests should verify the type under spec.reference

Problem
As discussed in this PR, the auto-created EventType should properly set spec.reference type. When the target is Broker, it should reference the broker and not the underlying InMemoryChannel. The tests using WaitForEventType should properly check the right type under spec.reference.
