Code Review

This cherry-pick PR looks good. The implementation correctly mirrors the existing blob_handling pattern from Dataset.scanner() in dataset.rs.

No P0/P1 issues found.

Minor observations (not blocking):

  • The test coverage is adequate, testing both fragment.scanner() and fragment.to_table() paths
  • The implementation is consistent with the existing codebase patterns
