Unable to grab the left crop handles on iOS 12 and below

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Launch Example app
2. Select an image, and tap the Crop icon to open the media editor
3. Grab the left hand side crop handles

Expected behavior

The left hand crop handle moves to allow you to make your selection

Actual behavior

The view attempts to go back to the previous view (full swipe)
