Blades of the apostate disappear when you take them out after climbing on a table.

Reproduction

1. be chaplain with blades of the apostate
2. climb onto table
3. unsheathe blades while you're still out of stamina
4. no more blades

if you get onto a table with the blades already out they disappear but can in fact be pulled out of the sheathe, if you take them out right after you're on the table they're gone forever, the chaplain is now without a null rod except for a sheathe that can't do anything.
