The version currently used, v0.8.8, is over two years old (released 2018-07-19). The change is code was necessary because of the introduction of `ParameterAttributes` (in order to support UDAs on parameters), in v0.9.3 / 604d951d25cb4edf1d69a78cda756ad05b625585
