  • Designed and implemented (never merged) Advanced filtering for triggers

I'd very much like to see this happening. Grant has been around since the early beginnings, always doing superb work in pretty much all the areas one can think of, e.g., design, coding, reviews, releases, helping folks in slack, etc, etc. He is clearly one of the most respected voices in our community.
I think this is extremely well-deserved, and a way of making "official" the huge respect we have for him.

Aside from the obvious technical abilities and solid technical reasoning of Grant, I have always admired his sense of inclusion and his tendency to rally for community alignment which is why I believe the eventing WG will benefit a lot from having him as a WG technical lead. Big +1 from my side.
