Sometimes I wonder if it really makes sense to use utils.find or just the native find from ES6 since we do some backfilling for that through @babel/env

This should be the native ES6 find. The only reason why I use the util._each/_map is that it works on objects whereas the native one does not.

If possible, can we make this as a string, since our openxBidAdapter requires the adunit as a string?

Because if we take those users into account, then they will get the 2 confused and wonder why 1 is a number and why 1 is a string.

I agree that it's confusing. In the unit tests, I've accidentally swapped them several times.

It's currently a number and a long in the backend.
