EhCache 3.0 is now generally available. Let's upgrade our build to it and hereby officially declare it as supported as a JCache provider.

What about org.springframework.cache.ehcache.EhCacheCacheManager?
As far as I see, 3.0 changed the package name.

We do not intend to provide native setup for EhCache 3.x since even the Terracotta guys themselves consider it a JCache provider these days. In particular, we do not intend to provide our EhCache*FactoryBean variants for it; I guess we could provide cache SPI adapters which bypass JCache but we don't really see value in it at this point.
